Things You Will Need

A sturdy metal hook, super glue, a cutter, a file, a plier, a small circular mirror with a metal border, head designs like animal prints and clear crystals (optional).
Instructions and Tips

Bend the metal to form a hook while making sure that it has a wide table clearance. In simpler terms, ensure that the space between the two ends of the hook are wide enough to fit on any type of table. A standard purse hook available in the market has a table clearance of about 1.5 to 2 inches. This cannot be used for hanging on tables that have a thickness of 2.5 inches. Hence, keep the clearance width to about 2.5 inches to be on the safer side.
Using super glue, fix the circular mirror at one end of the hook. Ensure that it will not fall off when you actually hang the purse.
File the ends of the hook to make them smooth. With this, you have completed making your purse hanger hook. If necessary, you can adjust the shape of the hook.
Purse hangers can also be a unique personalized gift item. You can create custom-designed items which can be a unique present for your near and dear ones. It can be gifted separately, or along with a handbag.
You can purchase a correctly-sized velour to keep your bag accessory in place. Besides these simple ones meant for use primarily in restaurants, there are also ones that are especially ideal for closets too. So when are you making your stylish-handy-useful-trendy accessory? Good luck, and don't forget to carry it with you the next time you dine out!
